During my time at Loughborough, I was committed to maintaining a positive and healthy outlook, which led me to join the ‘Train and Gain’ all girls gym society, which was one of my favourite aspects of University life. It’s where I met most of my friends and the relaxed atmosphere allowed me to train at my own pace while also participating in social events.
Loughborough University has provided excellent assistance throughout my journey into the army through the University Officers' Training Corps (UOTC) by providing transportation to a nearby squadron meeting each week, which has helped to support my on going training. In addition, my degree has played a key role in helping me work towards my chartership with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps. It has also provided me with a valuable qualification to fall back on should I ever choose to return to civilian life.
I am proud to have secured a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) during my graduation year, as it provided an important career for me, once I completed my degree.
