My advice to new students is to get involved in as much as possible, especially sports and societies. When I walked into my first lecture, I simply asked someone if I could sit next to them and we ended up becoming great friends. Everyone’s in the same boat, so it’s easy to connect and find your community.

The course has also helped me prepare for life after university. Modules with individual coursework have taught me how to problem-solve independently, while team projects have helped me develop collaboration skills that are essential in the workplace. The most fulfilling part of making "Progress with Purpose" for me is seeing the impact of your work, when something you’ve done leads to real change, it’s incredibly rewarding.
