Outside of my academic work, I have joined the IET On Campus group at Loughborough, which has allowed me to meet other engineering students and be a part of organising engineering-related opportunities. I’m excited to be on the committee as it will help me develop my abilities and confidence in crucial skills, such as project management and networking.
I am also on the kayaking team for Loughborough. I joined at the start of this year as a total beginner, and I have really enjoyed meeting new people while getting active together and learning a new sport; we recently went for a paddle down the canal in Loughborough town which was great fun.
