‘Natural’ flood management would be overwhelmed by Britain’s winter super-floods by Professor Robert Wilby

Professor Robert Wilby has been busy on the media front in the aftermath of Storm Dennis.

Rob did two interviews for The Guardian resulting in two separate articles on Storm Dennis and house building on land with high flood risk, before appearing on Good Morning Britain (20 Feb) during the news piece on flooding.

Prof. Wilby has also co-authored a piece for The Conversation with Prof. Simon Dadson at Oxford University on the efficacy (or not) of nature-based solutions to super-floods. Finally, Prof. Wilby has also recently partnered with the Royal Geographical Society to write some lesson plans on restless climate called ‘Restless climate: Lessons using data skills’ for A Level use.
