International Relations, Politics and History students awarded prizes at graduation

Last week, our 2024 cohort graduated and enjoyed a brilliant day on campus celebrating with friends, family, and staff members from our School.

During the day, prizes were handed out to students that excelled during their time studying our International Relations, Politics and History programmes. Prizes were awarded to:

  • Elizabeth Cook - SSH Community Prizes: IRPH: Part C    
  • Ella Carter - John Waller Prize for the Dissertation in History          
  • Graham Delashmutt - Dissertation Prize: History and Politics
  • Laurence Fadil - Dissertation Prize: Politics with Economics
  • Jacob Patch - Dissertation Prize: Politics with Economics
  • Lucy Taylor -  Dissertation Prize: Politics, Philosophy and Economics

The School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize is a prize to the value of £50 to a final-year International Relations, Politics and History student who is judged to have made an exceptional extra-curricular contribution to the discipline, School, University or wider community.

A prize to the value of £250, The John Waller Prize is awarded to one undergraduate student with the highest mark in a history dissertation.

International Relations, Politics and History Dissertation Prizes are awarded to the students who receive the highest marks in their dissertation module.
