Nick Propper (European Business BA, 1996) has co-authored the book “Stressed Self to Best Self: The Science Backed System for Sustainable Peak Performance” with Kevin Kachin. The book is set to release in October 2026.

Nick Propper’s new book discusses how to reduce stress and manage intentional recovery to combat burnout.

Sharing his personal experiences in performance management, the book, published by Wiley, discusses how to maintain consistently high achievement without suffering from overwhelm and exhaustion, which is especially important for high-performing professionals.

Nick’s early experience of a high-performing environment was at Loughborough:

“Studying and playing rugby at Loughborough provided my first real experience of operating in a high-performance environment. The importance placed on managing the mind body connection was a valuable learning opportunity for me and one which I continue to leverage today in my professional work.”

Nick is currently the CEO of Impact Human Performance, where he works with prominent corporate organisations such as Goldman Sachs, P&G and Morgan Stanley alongside work with U.S. Military and Intelligence Communities.

His advice has come from helping over 75,000 employees over the course of his career.

Nick says that the book is especially relevant to those looking to go into high-stress careers. Readers can benefit from learning how to manage their stress and energy before they enter the workforce.

The book will be released in late October 2026, and it is available for pre-order on Amazon.
