Dr Drakopoulos is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton University specialising in polymer physics. His most recent research has been published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Macromolecules.
As an Honoree, Dr Drakopoulos gave a presentation at the PMSE Future Faculty Symposium which was part of the ACS Fall Conference in Chicago in August 2026. The Future Faculty presentations give the Honorees the opportunity to showcase their research contributions within the field of polymer science.
On receiving recognition, Dr Drakopoulos said:

This recognition comes at a pivotal moment, as I prepare to launch my own research group, and it caps a journey in polymer research that began during my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Patras and Loughborough University.
