International Students

LU Arts can help you get involved in creative workshops, meet students from other cultures and do something new & fun outside of your studies.

We've got an incredible lineup of events and activities tailored just for International students at Loughborough University. Get ready to make new friends, explore your creative side, and immerse yourself in the vibrant arts scene on campus.

From music and performing arts to creative writing and visual arts, we've got it covered! Our events includes hands-on workshops, evening classes, music tuition, open mic performances, exhibitions and much more. There are also one-off competitions and opportunities to showcase your work and skills.

If you have any questions then please email us at LU.Arts@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk.

LU Arts x ISE

For 2026-27 we are working in partnership with International Student Experience to support their International Hangouts. These fortnightly sessions are a great chance to meet other students and take a break from University life.

Once a month we'll be running a craft session as part of the International Hangout. You'll get to make something to take away with you - no experience necessary and all materials provided.

These sessions are free but advance booking is recommended via ISE. They are open to all Loughborough University international students, including UG, PGT and PGR. We'll add individual events to our 'what's on' page so please check here for details.

The dates of the crafting sessions for the autumn term are 7 October, 4 November and 18 November 2026.
