Library Pop-up Maker Space x National Year of Reading
Join our colleagues at the Library for a special Pop-up Maker Space making bookmarks.
About the event
To celebrate the National Year of Reading, join our colleagues at the Library for a special Pop-up Maker Space as part of their programme of events to celebrate the National Year of Reading.
This lunchtime drop-in art session encourages you to take a break from your studies and do something creative. There’s no need to book, just drop-in and stay for as little or as long as you like.
For this special Pop-up, we’ll be making bookmarks. Decorate your own pre-cut bookmark with pens, stickers and craft punches – and don’t forget to add a colourful tassel! Keep it for yourself or gift it to someone.
This is a simple, fun session open to all students. Materials are provided so you don’t need to bring anything with you, just turn up on the day.
Accessibility
There is step free access into the building and Seminar Room One is located on the entry level floor. There are accessible toilets nearby. For more information, view the Access Guide for Pilkington Library on AccessAble.
If you have any specific access requirements or anything you would like us to be aware of, please let us know via the booking form or email LU.Arts@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk in advance of booking and we will do our best to accommodate them.
