Book nowUnwind this summer and stitch your own notebook
About the workshop
*** Loughborough University students only ***
Bookbinding is a relaxing and rewarding craft that transforms paper into a useful and stunning object. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to make handmade books, using basic bookbinding techniques with needles and threads. You will create three notebooks of increasing complexity and gain knowledge and skills to continue making on your own at home.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided.
This event is part of Summertime Socials, a programme of activities for students staying in or near Loughborough over the summer.
Visit the Summertime Socials webpage for full details.
About Create and Connect
Create and Connect are pre-bookable creative workshops open to all students. The regular series takes places in the Library on the second Tuesday of the month during term time. Each session is a one-off and must be booked in advance. They are a chance to meet new people, learn new skills and make something to take away.
