Profile
I joined Zhengzhou University, China in July 1994. I obtained the qualification of chartered engineer for environmental impact assessment in 2005, becoming one of the first generations of chartered engineers in this field in China.
I have worked in both academic research and environmental consultancy for nearly 30 years with hundreds of companies and government agencies. I have since developed my expertise in China's environmental policies, regulations and planning.
My educational background has been environmental science and engineering throughout my undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies. My research interests include environmental policy, planning and management, environmental impact assessment, water pollution control, and water ecological restoration. I have taught, coordinated, and developed a number of bachelor's and master's courses within Zhengzhou University including Environmental Assessment for undergraduate and Environmental Management and Planning for postgraduate.
