Whether you're leading innovative research, reducing waste in your hall or office, supporting biodiversity, or making small everyday changes, we want to celebrate the positive impact being made across our university community.
This could be:
- research with environmental impact;
- initiatives that reduce waste, energy use or carbon emissions;
- community and volunteering projects;
- sustainable practices within departments, teams, or student groups;
- growing your own food;
- reusing and refurbishing furniture and equipment instead of buying new;
- planting trees, creating wildflower meadows or pollinator-friendly habitats.
If you or someone you know is making a positive difference, big or small, we'd like to hear from you.
Please email Notifications@lboro.ac.uk by 4 November with the following:
- A brief summary of the activity or project.
- The names of those involved.
- Any photos you would be happy for us to use on the University website.
By sharing these stories, we can celebrate the collective efforts of our community and inspire others to take action.
Keep an eye on the Sustainability Fortnight microsite to find out more about the events taking place throughout the campaign.
