The Choir sings a mixed repertoire of classical and modern music, under the guidance of Musical Director Eleanor Graff-Baker.
Weekly rehearsals will resume from Monday 28 September at 7pm – 9pm in the Cope Auditorium (Edward Barnsley).
Joining a choir can not only improve your singing and your ability to read sheet music, but it can also improve your confidence, sense of wellbeing, and help you meet new people. No prior experience is needed to join – all abilities are welcome.
As well as weekly rehearsals, the Choir performs two concerts a year (December and May) and is often invited to take part in other University events.
If you are interested in joining the Choir, you can attend a rehearsal or one of the designated taster sessions. There is no need to book or pay in advance, and you can borrow music for the session.

If you decide to join, you will pay a membership fee. The 2026/27 membership prices are as follows:
- Annual membership £25 (available to purchase at the start of each academic year until the end of November);
- Term only membership £15 per term (September - December or January - May);
- Student membership: Free, but please still register to make sure you are added to the Choir's mailing list.
