Kitting Out is an important milestone in the sporting journey for athletes and support staff, with over 450 Team England personnel provided with village, training, and competition wear by leading sport apparel brand, Kukri.
The University’s Sir Denis Rooke Building has been transformed to house a showroom, athlete lounge space and warehouse as all Team England squads come together for the first time ahead of the Games.
Held in Glasgow for the first time since 2014, the multi-sport event will see around 3,000 athletes from around the world compete for 215 gold medals across 10 days of action.
More than 100 athletes with direct links to Loughborough University are set to compete, alongside many coaches, support staff, and volunteers.
The Commonwealth Games commence on Wednesday 23 July and will run until Sunday 2 August.
