Firat leads the Centre for AI in Education, specialising in technology-enhanced learning, educational data mining, human-computer interaction and applied AI in education.
Sara leads AI work in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and academic integrity, focusing on responsible AI use, inclusive education, assessment, student support and AI governance.
Yanning brings expertise in AI-supported assessment, formative feedback and educational technology, supporting responsible and effective AI use in learning and assessment.
Parisa contributes expertise in artificial intelligence, computer graphics, theoretical computer science and ethical considerations in AI-supported educational practice.
Hossein leads AI and career development, with expertise in generative AI, large language models, data visualisation, web and mobile development, and employability.
Gary brings expertise in robotics, applied AI and digital learning, supporting the Centre’s work on AI-enabled teaching, robotics and practical educational innovation.
Mohamad brings expertise in AI, robotics, computer vision, human-computer and human-robot interaction, and probabilistic modelling, supporting embodied and interactive AI systems.
Hui brings expertise in visual computing, machine learning, AI and computer vision, with applications in healthcare, agriculture, business intelligence, environmental monitoring and transport.
