Loughborough Business School has officially received Association of MBA re-accreditation and, for the first time, additional accreditation from the Business Graduates Association. Two of the world’s leading authorities on business education, these accreditations have been awarded following a thorough evaluation process, assessed by a panel of senior business school leaders from around the world.

AMBA and BGA accreditations recognise schools which offer the highest standard of education and reflect changing trends and innovation in postgraduate management learning. As such, the accreditation process reflects this commitment to fostering innovation and challenges business schools to continuously perform at the highest level.

During the accreditation process, members of the AMBA & BGA accreditation panel commended the school’s clear and transparent MBA value proposition, which supports the effective management of student expectations throughout the recruitment and study journey.

The school’s approach to responsible management was also noted to be inclusive and collegiate, enabling engagement and buy-in across multiple stakeholder groups within the school community.

Finally, the panel noted that the MBA at Loughborough provides a transformative learning experience that is valued by both alumni and employers.

Upon receiving AMBA & BGA accreditation, all current and recent graduates of the school’s MBA portfolio are invited to join AMBA’s global membership network, which comprises approximately 80,000 students and alumni from over 150 countries.

Meanwhile, all undergraduates and alumni from any of the business school’s programmes are invited to join BGA’s individual membership network. Through both these organisations, students and graduates can strengthen a community that acts as a force for good in management thought and practice, through exclusive events and business content.

AMBA & BGA accreditation is international in scope and reach, and the organisation works with senior academics at top educational institutions around the world to continuously update accreditation criteria and maintain a unique, in-depth, and detailed approach.

Professor Janet Godsell, Dean of Loughborough Business School, said: “We are pleased to have received reaccreditation from AMBA & BGA. At Loughborough Business School, we are committed to helping drive forward the future of purpose-led education, fostering a culture of teaching excellence and creating engaging student experiences. Our MBA programme continues to form an essential component our learning offering, incorporating our ethos of ‘Progress with Purpose’ into the curriculum to develop the highly skilled, socially responsible leaders of tomorrow.”

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of AMBA & BGA, said: “I am delighted that Loughborough Business School has achieved joint AMBA & BGA accreditation. This achievement reflects the school’s commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful business education, underpinned by a clear MBA value proposition, responsible management principles, and a transformative learning experience for students. We look forward to working closely with Loughborough Business School as part of our global network of ambitious, innovative and socially responsible institutions.”
