Sameer Mody is Director of Degree Apprenticeships and Workplace Learning at Loughborough University, where he leads degree apprenticeship provision within Loughborough Business School.
With over 20 years of professional experience spanning enterprise technology, international B2B sales and higher education, Sameer brings a broad commercial and organisational perspective to leadership development, executive education and workplace learning. He leads the Degree Apprenticeship team and teaches Strategic Management within the MSc Strategic Leadership programme, working predominantly with experienced professionals and senior leaders.
A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Sameer’s expertise encompasses leadership development, executive education, coaching, programme transformation and organisational change. His work focuses on developing strategic capability in leaders and supporting them to translate learning into meaningful organisational impact.
Sameer contributes to the wider education and professional development sector through external examining and assessment across Levels 4–7 at multiple universities.
He is also a Governor at Fairfax Academy in Birmingham, with responsibility for post-16 provision, supporting the strategic development of opportunities that enable sixth-form students to make informed decisions about their future education and careers.
He maintains active engagement with the wider business education and leadership development community through professional networks, sector events, and invited contributions to discussions on the changing landscape of business education.
