My best memory was competing in the UXathon with Hong Kong Business School. It was the first time I met some of my course mates in person so it was a great way to make new friends. We took part in a design sprint which lasted two days, working with our clients to build their branding and a prototype for their service. It was fast-paced, but was also very enjoyable and rewarding. We all sat and ate pizza while each team delivered their final presentations and we even took home an award ourselves!
My advice to anyone considering studying this course would be to make the most of the opportunities available, no matter what your background. Everyone is going to be at different starting points, some will have studied and practiced design for years, and some (like me) will have no experience at all. Not only will you develop real-world skills that are highly sought after in the workplace, but you’ll also have a lot of fun along the way. The projects are exciting and forwardthinking, and there’s a lot of opportunity to tailor the course to suit your interests and aspirations.
