Background
Adam studied MEng Materials Engineering at Loughborough, graduating in 2018. Between his second and third year he completed a placement year at Nylacast Ltd in Leicester, working in their R&D department in the testing and development of polymers for engineering applications.
After graduating, he stayed in Loughborough and started his PhD with CREST in October 2018, developing coatings for solar module cover glass, as part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in New and Sustainable Photovoltaics. Upon completing his PhD, he continued at CREST as a postdoctoral research associate, moving into photovoltaics for space applications, working on EPSRC and UK Space Agency-funded projects.
