Divakar is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanics of Materials, where his research focuses on hydrogen embrittlement and de-embrittlement mechanisms to support sustainable hydrogen storage and transportation. His work combines experimental investigations with computational modelling, with a particular emphasis on computational mechanics and mechanics under extreme environments to develop a deeper understanding of material behaviour.
Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed an M.Tech in Fuel, Minerals, and Metallurgical Engineering at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, where he graduated with a Gold Medal in recognition of his outstanding academic performance. During his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering, he participated in national and international conferences and contributed to scholarly publications. His research resulted in a peer-reviewed journal article and presentations at academic conferences.
