How to connect to the Wi-Fi as a guest

Non-academic visitors to Loughborough University campus can gain internet access by registering as a guest user on the imago wireless network.

Imago wireless network - self registration

Designed for those staying in Burleigh Court, the Link Hotel, Elite Athlete Hotel, a delegate at a conference organised in conjunction with imago, or for large numbers of unknown visitors such as Open Days:

Instructions

  1. Staff to obtain the weekly registration code to present to the visitor, prior/on arrival to the campus.
  2. Once on site the visitor connects to the imago Wi-Fi network to access the registration page.
  3. The visitor completes the registration page using the weekly registration code.

The following networks are available to guests:

GovWifi

  • A secure wireless network service provided by the UK government for use by public sector employees, contractors, and visitors.

OpenRoaming 

  • A seamless and secure Wi-Fi roaming experience. Enables devices to automatically and securely connect to Wi-Fi networks as users move between different locations.
