BioBlitz
Join our BioBlitz event on Wednesday 8th July for a fun afternoon recording nature on campus, as part of Loughborough's participation in an exciting new Nature Friendly Grounds programme!
Following a short half hour training, we'll be heading out onto campus as a group to record as many species as possible within a short amount of time, and uploading records of photos and sounds to iNaturalist to capture a snapshot of spring biodiversity in the university.
A BioBlitz is a great way to get outdoors, enjoy a break from work or exam revision and help record and identify your local wildlife. The training will also cover some top wildlife spotting and survey tips, and all records contribute towards global citizen science data!
The session is open to any staff or students, and no prior experience is needed. If you are unable to join the full session, you are welcome to dip out once needed.
