For a limited time, all new members who sign up to a Silver or Gold Loughborough Sport Direct Debit membership will receive a complimentary 1‑to‑1 gym consultation and a tailored 8‑week training programme. Two week free trial
We are excited to offer all new employees of Loughborough University, as well as employees of companies based on campus, a FREE two-week trial of our facilities when requested with the first 6 months of empolyment.
- Loughborough University staff will enjoy Gold Membership benefits during the trial period.
- Tenants or Employees of campus-based companies will receive Silver Membership benefits.
To activate your trial, please let us know your preferred start date within the next two weeks by emailing sportmemberships@lboro.ac.uk. If you’d like to begin later, we kindly ask that you contact us once you’re within that two-week window.
Remember to book in with one of our fitness coaches if you would like to receive a gym induction.
Free activities with our Recreational Sport programme
We offer free recreational sport sessions year-round, giving Loughborough University students and staff the opportunity to get active, try new sports, and enjoy physical activity in a fun, inclusive environment.
Whether you're returning to a sport you love or trying something completely new, our well-structured sessions are designed to suit all ability levels; no experience is required.

- Recreational Sport courses are available exclusively to Loughborough University students
- Activities will be reduced during vacation periods
