Sport Technology: World Cup in a Box

Our World Cup in a Box resource explores how physics principles contribute to the evolution of football whilst inspiring students to discover exciting career paths they may not have considered before! In this interactive resource, students will be tasked with testing our footballs before the World Cup matches to ensure they are suitable for use.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand FIFA's football quality testing laws
  • Gain knowledge of the testing protocol used to pass FIFA standards
  • Understand how physics tests are applied in FIFA football testing
