Mark Leaper in lab

Dr Mark Leaper

Chemical Engineering

Mark has experience working in chemical engineering and pharmacy departments and is a Fellow of the IChemE. He has also worked with a wide range of companies in the field of particle technology. He is currently involved in projects that use particle technology to solve issues in the water industry.

Bioengineering

Danish is an international expert in developing scalable manufacturing platforms for next-generation biotherapeutics. He has a strong record of bridging the translational gap between fundamental science and applied settings with his research within respiratory, gastrointestinal and wound infections.
Dr Xujin Bao

Xujin Bao

Materials

Xujin is the programme director for the Materials MSc programmes and also coordinates the MSc research projects. His research mainly focuses on Materials Chemistry, Energy Materials and Nanomaterials.
Dr Paul Cunningham

Paul Cunningham

Automotive Engineering

Paul has industrial and academic experience in advanced composite materials and structures. He has been involved in research with Jaguar Land Rover on the low-cycle fatigue testing of aluminium alloys.
