Privacy notice – curriculum vitae review

Here at Loughborough University we take the protection of your data and your privacy seriously and this part of our website provides information on what personal data we collect; how and why we collect it; how we store it and for how long we keep it. This notice will also explain how we look after your data and protect your rights in accordance with the relevant data protection legislation.

What personal information do we hold about you?

The following personal information provided by applicants will be collected as part of the curriculum vitae (CV) review service. Data collected may include: name, contact information, image, date of birth, employment history, qualifications, skills and experience.

Why do we collect your information?

The information collected is to enable the University to provide CV advice to prospective applicants. By replying to this CV review service offer and providing a copy of your most recent CV, you are consenting to Loughborough Business School sharing it with Future, Referenced, so it may review and recommend improvements to your CV.

The provision of personal data is voluntary, and you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Your rights in Data Protection law are explained here.

Who has access to your data at the University?

Your data will be kept in electronic format in secure University systems. Access to your data will be limited to the postgraduate programmes professional services team within Loughborough Business School.

Who do we share your data with outside the University?

Your data will be shared with Future, Referenced, who will be undertaking the CV review.

How long do we keep your information?

Your data will be deleted from University systems at the end of November 2023.

General

Loughborough University does not sell your data to third parties or other organisations.   

From time to time, Loughborough University will use your personal data to conduct analysis that will provide useful information.
