In partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, Loughborough University is offering 2 scholarships to students in Germany and Nigeria applying for one-year postgraduate courses in all subjects.
The GREAT Scholarships 2027 programme, launched by the British Council together with over 75 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, USA and Vietnam in accessing world-class UK higher education opportunities.
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at 75 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Please note that applicants must be permanent residents and passport holders of Bangladesh, China (mainland only), Egypt, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, USA or Vietnam.

Eligibility criteria
- The University is offering scholarships to eligible students who are passport holders from Germany and Nigeria.
- You will need to be holding an unconditional or conditional offer to study at Loughborough University. Scholarships are to the value of £10,000 and include all taught master’s programmes offered by Loughborough University.
- Applicants need to have met their English language requirement by the application deadline to be considered for this scholarship.
