The London 'Future Me' Scholarship will cover £10,000 of the course fees for your chosen London-based postgraduate taught course for one year (replacing any departmental or Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries you may already have been awarded).
The University will award a limited number of scholarships, and the standards required are very high. You need to write a short virtual postcard (no more than 300 words) from your future self. This should explain how studying at Loughborough University London helped you achieve the life and career you wanted.
The postcard should show how your course, the support of the team at Loughborough and how the opportunities in London shaped your future career and you as a person. Maybe the course helped you start your own AI powered business, set you on the path to your PhD or helped you secure the graduate job of your dreams. Maybe you were inspired by Loughborough’s history and heritage or swept up in the buzz of east London. You should get creative and dream big.
The scholarship will replace any other Loughborough University scholarships or bursaries that may already have been awarded to the successful candidates and is open to offer holders with Loughborough University London only.
Eligibility criteria
You will need to:
- Be holding an unconditional or conditional offer to study at Loughborough University London campus in January 2027.
- Have firmly accepted your offer of study.
- Be able to evidence of exceptional academic achievement (normally a first-class honours degree).
Scholarships are to the value of £10,000 and include all taught master’s programmes offered by the London campus.
How to apply
Our 'Future Me' Scholarship is part of an unprecedented investment in talent. We will be offering a £10,000 tuition fee waiver against the full cost of tuition fees for any full-time master's programme at Loughborough University London.
You should display a full understanding of the costs involved in postgraduate study and outline why you have a strong motivation to study your programme. You should also demonstrate that you have the initiative to be able to secure funds in order to cover the remaining tuition fee and other associated costs.
To be considered, all sections of the application form must be filled in with supporting documentary evidence where necessary.
