Module leader for Vehicle and Powertrain Functional Performance. Kambiz has extensive experience working with industry on research projects relating to advanced vehicle propulsion including hybrid-electric powertrains.

Ashley’s research focuses on the design, development, and diagnostics of powertrain systems for electric vehicles. Being involved in the design and development of an electric vehicle for research and teaching in India, his expertise lies in batteries and fuel cells for electric vehicles.

Module leader for Body Engineering. Simon has considerable expertise in the computational mechanics of fibre-reinforced composite materials and lightweight structures, and in theoretical and experimental interface fracture mechanics in layered materials and thin films.

Senior Lecturer in Vehicle Dynamics and Control

Module leader for Vehicle Dynamics. Matt has considerable experience in the modelling and control of vehicle ride and handling, and he is a member of the vehicle test team which operates at MIRA.
