Paul Lepper specialises in underwater acoustics and bioacoustics, focusing on noise impact on marine fauna and long-term noise assessment. He has worked on offshore windfarm noise, marine mammal hearing and advanced acoustic systems. He’s a member of several acoustics societies.

Research interests lie in the development of thin film chalcogenide based PV materials, including cadmium telluride (CdTe), copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) and copper zinc tin selenide (CZTS), and transparent conducting oxides using vacuum and non-vacuum deposition techniques.
