Andrew is a Chair of Engineering Teaching Practice. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. In addition to his pedagogical expertise, Andrew has experience within the automotive, medical device, diagnostic and food service manufacturing industry.

Teaching Fellow in Engineering Management

Raj specialises in researching the digitisation of value chains and the challenges of end-to-end integration. He brings practical, industry-relevant insights to key areas such as product innovation management, technology strategy for multinational corporations and operations management.

Professor Vadim Silberschmidt

Professor of Mechanics of Materials

Vadim is the Chair of our Mechanics of Advanced Materials research group. He is a Charted Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and Institute of Physics. He is also Director of International Centre of Vibro-Impact Systems.

Dr Ehsan Sabet

Associate Professor in Additive Manufacturing and Engineering Management

Ehsan’s research interests include additive manufacturing (3D printing), high-value manufacturing and industry 4.0, and continuous improvement (lean-sigma-TOC). Ehsan has a strong track record of managing multi-million pound research and industrial projects.

Professor Michael Henshaw

Professor of Systems Engineering

Michael's research focuses on the integration and management of complex socio-technical systems. A graduate in Applied Physics, he spent 17 years working in defence and aerospace before joining Loughborough in 2006. He is Co-chair of the IEEE Systems of Systems Engineering Technical Committee.

Professor Jenny Harding

Director of Academic Staffing and Professor of Intelligent Manufacturing Knowledge Systems

Jenny's extensive industry experience in textile production, engineering, and metrology informs her academic focus on Intelligent Manufacturing Knowledge Systems. Her work optimises product design, manufacture and system control by delivering critical knowledge to practitioners in real time.
