Helen has been an academic at Loughborough University since 1996. In 2017 she left the Midlands for London to establish the Institute for Diplomacy and International Affairs (IDIA), drawn by the opportunities to combine her academic and entrepreneurial interests.
Cristian's research has been guided by an interdisciplinary ethos, with insights from various disciplines with the long-term goal to uncover the links between the nature of political systems and foreign policy.
Tim's research and teaching currently focus on Brexit, British politics, London, European politics, international relations and international security.
