Peter is the Programme Leader for the Sport Management MSc. Peter’s primary research interests are in sports marketing, and more specifically in the areas of sport sponsorship (consumers’ responses to sports sponsorship and brands’ strategic use of sponsorship).
The focus of his research is on employee voice, and how organisations facilitate or mitigate against employees and their willingness or ability to voice. Albert is also interested in organisational cultures, and the role of leaders in the cultivation of organisational cultures.
Anna Rita’s research interests span across different areas of industrial economics and applied microeconomics, as well as behavioural and experimental economics. Her teaching expertise includes microeconomics, industrial economics, game theory, economics of innovation and international trade.
Paul has wide ranging research interests in sport, physical activity and leisure. He is currently investigating the determinants of sport, physical activity and volunteering, and their impacts on: health and wellbeing; social capital and social inclusion; and human capital and labour markets.
Having more than 20 years of work experience in different sport cultures across Europe, North America and Asia, Do Young has become a global sport marketing expert. His research advances the understanding of consumers’ cognitive and affective structures in various international sport contexts.
Serhat’s research expertise has two main strands: sports agents, and the protection of young athletes in sport, while his teaching focuses on Sports Law, Sport Integrity, and Sport Policy, Governance and Law.
Borja's research interests embrace two main fields: European Union’s sports policy; and the governance of sport. He has consulted for the European Commission among others. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Supporters Direct Europe.
Michael has an interest in sports management and marketing research. He is able to draw on experience from over 23 years in the sports management industry, including senior positions in the Greek Super League and organisations such as FIFA, UEFA and the Athens 2004 Olympic Games Organising Committee
