Engineering Placements and Careers Fair
In addition to University-wide career events, the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering holds a collaborative Engineering Placements Fair with the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. Each year, over 70 employers attend, including major consulting and contracting companies in the UK and local and specialist firms.
Our Careers Fair allows you to engage with employers to explore various career options, talk directly to recruiters, hear about upcoming placement and graduate roles and get company-specific information in an informal environment.
Hear from our placement students
Every student in the School of Aeronautical, Automotive, Chemical and Materials Engineering can undertake a placement as part of their degree. As well as allowing you to put the theory you have learnt into practice and add to your CV, placements can help you learn about potential careers open to you upon graduation.
