Loughborough provides a broad course relevant to all areas of chemical engineering, encompassing the fundamental technical skills and industry specifics, as well as the wider impacts of the sector.

I did my placement year at PepsiCo International which was a great opportunity to explore a part of the process industry as it helped me further understand aspects that I like and want to explore and also what I would not enjoy doing.

I chose Chemical Engineering because it was a combination of the subjects I enjoyed at A-level (Maths and Sciences) and a Chemical Engineering degree gives graduates a wide range of rewarding career paths to follow.
