Bookbinding is a relaxing and rewarding craft that transforms paper into a useful and stunning object.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to make handmade books, using basic bookbinding techniques with needles and threads. You will create three notebooks of increasing complexity and gain knowledge and skills to continue making on your own at home.   

This workshop is beginner-friendly and all materials are provided.  

We encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment.

Speaking Club Tuesdays

Speaking Club

Every Tuesday over the summer period the International Student Experience (ISE) Team and Academic Language and Study Skills (ALSS) Team will run a Speaking Club.

Come along, practise your English speaking and listening skills with a chance to catch up with friends and meet new ones too. No need to book, ask any questions that you might have about life in the UK or just pop by for a general chit-chat and each week we will have a new topic to discuss!
