IAS 10th Anniversary
Loughborough University's Institute of Advanced Studies welcomed it's first Fellow in July 2017. Created under the 'Here to Stay' programme, the IAS spoke to the University Strategy - “Build connections with comparable specialist centres in universities internationally. Establish the concept of a “research hotel” where our international partners can be invited, as our guests, to work collaboratively with our other partners and ourselves to create world-leading research and innovative projects”.
Join us throughout this 2026-2027 academic year, as we celebrate over 500 Fellows who have visited since, collaborating across all Schools and generating significant impact and leagacy from their time here. We will add videos here through the year of Fellow / Host conversations about their collaboration through the IAS, and the ongoing legacy and impact of the visits.
We will also hold a celebration event on 30th June 2027 , featuring some key success stories, legacy, and ways you can interact with the IAS if you haven't already. Save the Date in your diaries, we'll add further details here soon!
