Merchandise terms and conditions

1. Loughborough University reserves the right to alter these conditions without notice, other than by posting the revisions on the Loughborough Sport website. The alterations or revision will apply from the date of first posting on the website.

1. Any items must be returned to a Loughborough Sport reception within 30 days of purchase, providing you have the receipt and goods are in original condition (unless faulty). For returns without a receipt we may at our sole discretion offer an exchange to the value of the most recent, or current selling price of the good.

2. Loughborough Sport will replace, exchange, or refund faulty goods provided that the defect or fault is not caused by usual wear and tear, damage caused deliberately or accidentally, negligence or if you fail to follow product care instructions or if the goods have been misused, altered, or repaired. If Loughborough Sport does not find any fault or defect, then your cancellation and refund rights are limited to those set out above. This does not affect the Purchaser’s statutory rights.

3. If the Purchaser believes that goods have a defect, they should not make any further use of them before returning them to Loughborough Sport. After the guarantee period, refunds and exchanges shall be at management’s discretion. The Purchaser’s statutory rights are not affected.

4. For hygiene reasons we will not accept returns or offer an exchange on swimwear or products where the hygiene seal has been removed. Packaging must remain intact. 

5. Some of the items which the Company offers for sale are fashion items and may not be suitable for sports or other activities. The Purchaser should therefore be satisfied that the items are suitable for the type of sports activity that they wish to use them for prior to purchasing.

1. Items purchased online are not eligible to be returned in any Loughborough Sport facilities.

1. Loughborough Sport reserves the right to remove any offer or promotion at any time.

2. Any membership discounts offered on merchandise are seasonal and not offered for the entirety of membership. 

3. The Loughborough Lightning season ticket discount is not valid on sale or clearance items.
