My advice to anyone considering this route to university is stay calm and open-minded. Don’t think of Clearing as a setback. It’s a chance to find the right fit for you.

Research your options carefully, ask questions and trust your instincts. If I’d known how supportive universities are during the process. I’d have been much calmer from the outset. Be assured, they want to help you succeed, not to catch you out.
