Swimming Pool
Opened in 2002, our 50m pool is home to the Loughborough Swimming Performance Programme, a British Swimming National Centre and British Triathlon Performance Centre, serving as the training base for some of the world’s leading swimmers.
Our swimming pool, also known as The Pool of Dreams, is home to some of the world's best athletes and teams, as well as a centre for British Triathlon and Aquatics GB. The 50m eight-lane pool can be divided into two 25m pools, offering flexibility for training and events. A moveable floor along one half of the pool provides an adjustable depth from 0 to 2 metres, complemented by international standard diving blocks, timing system and scoreboard.
The pool is used by a wide range of groups, from elite performance programmes to our Learn 2 Swim programme, as well as members enjoying lane swimming and recreational sessions.
